  • As a merchant you can easily view and keep track of each delivery in an order.

Partial Delivery for WooCommerce is useful if:

  • One of the products is on backorder but you want to ship the products that are in stock first and the backordered product in a separate delivery.
  • You want to split the order in multiple deliveries because one of the ordered items needs some kind of special delivery.
  • Some of the products in your store are shipped from a separate warehouse.

Automated flow for backordered products

If you allow sale of products on backorder in your store, there is a feature to automatically create partial deliveries when an order contains a backordered product.

When you as a merchant change the status of the original order to Completed, the plugin will check if the order contains any backordered products. If one exists in the order, the available products will be added to a new partial delivery order.

The partial delivery can now be shipped to the customer and the backordered product is still in the original order waiting to be shipped when the product is back in stock again.

Supports order management with Klarna, Dintero, Nets and Walley

If your payment provider has support for activating and canceling orders on a per order line basis, order management can be done with partial delivery orders just like regular orders.

This means that if you have two products in the main order but send them in two separate deliveries, the invoice/payment for product A will be activated/charged when delivery order A is completed and the invoice/payment for product B will be activated/charged when delivery order B is completed.

Currently this feature is supported if you use Klarna Checkout, Klarna Payments, Dintero Checkout, Nexi Checkout or Walley Checkout as your payment method. We will be adding support for more payment solutions in the future.
