We at Krokedil want to inform you about an important change that affects users of Payson Checkout for WooCommerce and Payson Form. Svea Bank, the majority owner of Payson, has announced that the Payson payment service will be discontinued in 2025. This means that both of the above-mentioned plugins developed by Krokedil will no longer be available for download and will also be phased out.
Svea has communicated the following to its customers:
If you’re using Payson Checkout or Payson Form for WooCommerce, you’ll need to switch to a different payment solution for your store. We will ensure that the plugins continue to function as expected until the discontinuation date. After that, we’ll remove them from our channels.
