CargonizerConnect 2.0 is a major update to our WooCommerce shipping plugin for Logistra Cargonizer. This release focuses on giving store owners more control over how shipping works — from what customers see at checkout to how you handle returns and multi-package orders in the back office.
Until now, showing accurate shipping costs at checkout required workarounds or flat-rate approximations. In 2.0, CargonizerConnect fetches live pricing from Cargonizer based on the customer’s cart and delivery address. If the API is unavailable, the plugin falls back to configured pricing automatically. You can also choose whether to display gross or net prices depending on your store setup.
You can now set a minimum cart amount that triggers free shipping, configured per shipping method. It’s a small feature, but one that a lot of stores have been waiting for.
This one’s for stores with more complex requirements. You can now define rules that show or hide shipping methods based on cart contents, and apply price adjustments depending on what’s in the order. Useful for handling oversized items, specific product categories, or promotional pricing.
The additional services setup has been overhauled. Pickup point services, insurance, and handling options are now easier to configure and can be set individually per shipping method.
Managing returns just got a lot simpler. You can now create a return consignment directly from a WooCommerce order — the label prints automatically, and you can configure separate transport agreements specifically for returns. No more manual steps outside of WooCommerce.
Some orders simply don’t fit in one box. CargonizerConnect 2.0 lets you split a shipment into multiple packages within a single consignment, each with its own dimensions and weight. Labels are counted automatically, so nothing slips through the cracks.
CargonizerConnect 2.0 is available now. As this is a major version update, we recommend reviewing your shipping method settings after upgrading to take advantage of the new configuration options.
